Kazan State Chamber Orchestra “La Primavera”, one of the best musical groups in Russia, started its activities in 1989. Nowadays it is a part of Kazan philharmonic.

“La Primavera” phenomenon implies combination of sophisticated musicality, high level of professional skills and group energy of young gifted musicians. All that became possible due to Rustem Abyazov, the establisher and the leader of the orchestra, Honoured Worker of Arts of Russian Federation, People’s Artist and Honoured Worker of Arts of Tatarstan Republic, Winner of Tatarstan Republic’s G.Tukay State Prize in Literature and Arts. Joining music-loving enthusiasts, in a short period of time the maestro had achieved outstanding results that made the orchestra welcomed and popular both among wide audience and experts.
The orchestra repertoire includes about 800 compositions: big pieces by Western European, Russian and Tatar composers, orchestra miniatures. In fact, “La Primavera” covers all musical trends – from baroque to jazz and rock – and still, having those wide interests, the musicians manage to realize stylistically individual approach to each piece they play. The most part of the repertoire compositions is recorded on 21 CDs and is often used by the Russian radio stations “Majak” and “Orphey”.
“La Primavera” art was greeted with applauses in the King’s Palace in Stockholm and in Tunis Coliseum, at the International Fair in Hanover and in many other concert halls in Russia and Ukraine, Germany and Sweden, Switzerland, France, Tunis, Greece, China, Turkey. An ideal team-work of the musicians, fragile sound painting and jewelry-like accuracy, enchanting virtuosity and a perfect sense of style were mentioned by different musical critics, as key-features of the Kazan Chamber Orchestra performances.
Constant work at repertoire up-dating, introduction of new or rarely played pieces and stylistic universality of “La Primavera” orchestra serve as a background for different joint projects with outstanding musicians of classical characters, such as I.Bochkova, M.Maysky, M.Yashvily, I.Frolov, and those, who play pop music, jazz and rock – I.Butman, D.Kramer, A.Shilkloper, N.Noskov, N.Baskov, K.Hensley. All that proves “La Primavera” to be a group of unlimited horizons.
