La Primavera, the Kazan chamber orchestra, went to Europe at the invitation of the famous cellist Mark Drobinskiy. In their concert tour the musicians included concerts in four cities - Siegen in Germany and Lyon, Ecuille, Le Bois-d’Oea in France.
“The trip was short, but very intense. We gave concerts with different programs of a very different format. In Germany and near Lyon, we performed in churches with great acoustics. Local public welcomed us very warmly”, said the art director and chief conductor of the orchestra Rustem Abyazov.
In Lyon the musicians from Kazan performed together with the winners of the XIII International Competition of pianists. The world premiere of “Cinema music for two pianos and orchestra” was performed in Ecuille, the concert was given in open-air format.
Tonight the musicians are returning to Kazan.
After a short holiday “La Primavera” will start preparing actively for a new concert season - the 30th in succession. In the jubilee season the orchestra will participate in the prestigious music festival “Mad Days”, give its own – “Abyazov Festival” and L'arte del arco, continue the projects “Ten-Year Brotherhood”, “Tatar Stars from European stages”, “Stars from Tomorrow” and the others.
